Research Based Approach

At Medela Numen LLC, we recognize that type 2 diabetes is exponentially growing so we developed our signature RAAD program based on Centers for Disease Control and Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists (ADCES).

Mission Driven.

Our Signature Diabetes Program

Responding to the alarming exponential rise in type 2 diabetes, Medela Numen LLC has developed our signature RAAD program to address this mounting healthcare crisis. The RAAD program, a testament to our commitment to combat this debilitating condition, incorporates a robust framework from the Centers for Disease Control and the Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists (ADCES).

This comprehensive approach not only targets diabetes but also assists in the management of related conditions like obesity, prediabetes, and cardiometabolic diseases. Our goal is to equip individuals with the necessary knowledge and tools to take charge of their health management and ultimately enhance their quality of life.

Wholistic Approach to Diabetecs Care

At Medela Numen LLC, we've ensured that the Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists (ADCES) seven Self-Care Behaviors are embedded within our program, yielding a highly effective strategy that facilitates diabetes prevention, reversal, or remission. Working in tandem with other care team members, our program places a strong emphasis on normalizing blood glucose and enhancing insulin sensitivity.

This is achieved through a multifaceted approach combining diabetes self-management education, caregiver-prescribed medication, dietary adjustments, lifestyle and behavior modifications, and supplemental support. We extend our services to both groups and individuals, focusing on tailored solutions that address the unique needs of each person or community.

Result Focused

We are solely focused on Type 2 Diabetes

We're well aware that type 2 diabetes is a genetically induced disease, meaning that individuals with a first-line relative (parent, grandparent, direct sibling) suffering from diabetes are genetically predisposed to it.

Diet

However, we also acknowledge the compelling research demonstrating that, despite the genetic link, the development of type 2 diabetes is strongly influenced by diet, lifestyle, and environmental factors.

Lifestyle

This understanding informs our approach to prevention and management, underlining the importance of lifestyle and behavioral modifications alongside clinical interventions.
